[Very quick DAICON update] another AWSM day
Daicon has ended and there is one word to describe it – AWSM.
How I wish when it pass 23:59 tonite, the whole world will reboot at Saturday 11th june 00:00 and repeats for another 15,153 times :P
At first I personally would like to thank every single person who were responsible for making Daicon a big success. It was the best ACG event I ever participated in my whole life and it was an expereince that I would never forget. As an AWSM ticket owner, every cents of my RM250 was really worth it and what I saw and felt during the two days was nothing like something that can be bought with any price.
I would like to thank their public relation department especially Kurogane for giving us the trust to do the coverage of the event as media. It was a whole new experience for me, but I will try my best to highlight what I thought about the events and try to point out what can be done to improve, not only for Daicon but others ACG events in Malaysia.
For those booth owners and cosplayers whom I`ve passed my card to, thank you for letting me to snap your photos and if you are reading this, thank you for visiting my blog. I am not an experienced photographer ( just got my DSLR 3 weeks before) so I need to take a lot of time to pick up the good photos and post process it until I can upload it here. I will try my best to upload it within 2 weeks from now and I cannot promise that all the photos will be uploaded because they might be poorly taken (it was cameraman fault, you guys/girls were great) but if you still want to request your photos you may contact me directly using my email from contact page.
Stay tunes for more posts about Daicon. I really need to rest now because the fatique of jumping and screaming for 10+3 songs is not that awsm lol ><

Otsukaresama deshita. All the jumping that you guys did was really AWSM! I enjoyed watching Chihara-san performed and at the same time enjoyed watching you guys enjoying yourselves. Hontou ni hontou ni tanoshikatta desu ne. :)

@yuanomiyuki
thanks for the comment
the credit shall goes to the Japanese chihara minori fan club guys
they provided the glowsticks and they were the one who cue the timing on how to react to every songs
the show might have been great, but with their help it was awsm haha ><
The ‘Watergate’ scandal was awesome in a wrong sort of way. Nothing like trolling overreacting Malaysians and making the rest of the Internets steaming in RAGE till’ their balls dropped off their USB sockets. It does prove how whiny Malaysians are online. Do something a little strange and in comes all kinds of condemnations and conclusions; more than enough to make conspiracy theorists and vocal activists lose their jobs.
@Hangmen
To me it was how anyone define their fine line between lol stuff vs pride/dignity
Like Fat Cat Lim said in as forum, lolz should be shared among ourself but don`t promote it because it may reflects anime fans and Malaysia in general
An artist from other country came to our country so this event may also be considered an international event and every move we made will reflects everyone in this country as a whole
I pity the poor guy though, but internet trolling has already become common aspect in modern world
If you can read moonrunes and you go to any fanboy related threads in 2ch, its full of repeated trolling people already immune of them…
