DaiCon Day 2 report

Moving forward to day 2. What a wonderful day to be late…yes, we were late for like 10 mins after the opening time leaving EG, jcdish, Kev and his GF to guard the display. It feels like Sunday got less people visiting our booth, maybe most of the people that came on Sunday already visited it on Saturday.

Today is more on cosplay picture than crapping about the event, so enjoy~

Valho, Kuzuryu, and Quazacolt was invited by the Demonbane cosplayers to do a photoshoot for them, I followed along for the lulz. And this is how it turns out to be.

I am armed with 100mm f/2.8 macro lens cilok from Valho, so most of my photos taken are side shots. YESH! I has different angles!

Some photos that I didn’t post here is in my flickr, please feel free to visit it. I went to the Pizza truck to get me-self a Hawaiian Chicken for lunch during the photoshoot, couldn’t endure the hunger. It was nearly 3pm when I finish my pizza, everybody was expecting Minori-san’s concert. So I make my way into the hall and found out it was pitch black (well almost), they were testing the lighting for the concert, I am sure some of the booth owner weren’t too happy about that. I started packing my figures at that time while anticipating the start of the concert since my blogger pass is able to get me in for media seat. Luckily enough, I didn’t have much figures to pack, was able to finished up everything before the concert starts.

The media seating was at both side of the stage, despite of being at the side, it was not blocked, so it could have been the best seat ever minus the first row of AWSM tickets (hell AWSM was boiling hot, I can feel their passion from my seat, jumping + swinging glow stick + standing throughtout the concert, the chairs are totally for decoration). The distance from my seat to the stage wasn’t far, but it wasn’t as close also, so a binocular could come in handy in this kind of situation, next time I am gonna bring one with me.

The concert was awesome, Minori-san’s has a great voice. I was kinda touched by the live concert, got myself teary for a moment. Really glad that she came to Malaysia. Wish other event could bring in more seiyuu into Malaysia in the future. Ok, that’s all from me, stay tune for misao’s part of report, but I wonder how long would it take for him to process his huge amount of raw taken during the event.
