Blogging should be fun but recently I started to feel like I am losing focus and cannot write anything anymore. The more I read those great anime blogs, the more I am losing confident to write and all my posts starting to look uglier each day. Writing an anime/otaku post has become a really serious business. I need to overcome this and look back on why and how I started this blog in the first place.

Just after a few hours I posted my previous entry, CottonCandy pm’ed me this blog’s new logo which I requested from him earlier yesterday. If you are reading this not from rss feed, then you probably already realized the new theme and design for this blog. After I started this blog in October I was undecided where this blog will go. Then after the 3 months probation I finally decided to move the blog into a new host to add flexibility to it’s design and to enable me exploring plugins and themes.

Despite of chasing Aya on New Year eve and spending the new year with tfm‘s member at Valho‘s during new year’s afternoon, I manage to pass my exam with 92% score lol. As promised,  I have restored back my banners and links on the right sidebar of this blog.
I have decided to ditch several links including general photography links and all oversea otaku blog that is not related to figures or cosplay. Instead of adding more links to the blogroll,  I rather keep the links I have now and get …

I rented a host for one year and the good thing is, it uses cPanel which mean WordPress can be installed from Fantastico. I use below tutorial as reference. I did not install it direct on domain root but installed it on new directory – /blog/ and redirects in on cPanel>Domains>Redirect so I can use my .com for other purpose in the future.

It is nearly end of 2008. This year I have discovered a few things in my life and also rediscovered some stuff I have forgotten about on the past few years. It has been nearly two years after I came back from Japan in October 2006 and I still miss Japan a lot. But still, I am back on the otaku track although it was not the same as the one I had before. I met some friends online leading up to more friends. Things are getting in place slowly.

So far I have made 23 posts and to this date viewed over 300 times. A nice start and I am so happy with the progress. Still in the process of getting the habit of blogging and also trying to maintain short and constant post.

I think it might be proper to record and plan my blog progress. So far I have managed to create a few posts and got to test all the common functions in WordPress. As recommended by many the interface is easy to use especially for a noob like me. There are some limitations as I am using the free version but still I managed to make this blog looks clean and organized also with customized header image.
